'Teen Wolf' season 5 spoilers: Deaton will find out something shocking about the Dread Doctors

MTV's supernatural drama series "Teen Wolf" has certainly stirred up viewers' imagination with the arrival of the horrific Dread Doctors. Last week's sizzling episode saw Dylan almost engulfed in flames before Theo saved him. Moreover, Hayden and Liam were abducted by the antagonists while Scott, Malia and Lydia hallucinated.
In "Teen Wolf's" upcoming episode eight titled "Ouroboros," Scott and Malia will try rescuing Liam and Hayden, reports TVGuide. Whether they will be successful or not remains a mystery but rescuing their friends will definitely be difficult. Expect the Dread Doctors to stir more trouble.
However, retrieving their friends will be even more problematic without the help of the wise vet and druid emissary Dr. Deaton. In episode four, the vet left to acquire more information about the Dread Doctors. The upcoming episode's synopsis teases that Deaton will discover something horrific about these beings.
What will Deaton discover? Whatever it is, it will at least help Scott and his pack in fighting against the supernatural villains. The episode's preview clip shows Scott blaming himself for all that's happened to his friends.
"Something's changed with me and my friends, with all of us. And I think it's because of me," he says. Scott's leadership abilities have definitely been tested in the previous episodes and he has made some bad decisions (like using Hayden as a trap).
Additionally, actress Marisol Nichols of "NCIS" fame has headed over to "Teen Wolf." She will play the role of the Desert Wolf, Malia's biological mother, reports TVLine. While little is known about Malia and her mother's interaction, if Lydia's premiere episode warning is any indication, the meeting doesn't bode well for the were-coyote.
Fans should expect Scott and Stiles' friendship to grow further strained as Theo uses Stiles' secret to ruin their bromance. Also, the episode's title "Ouroboros" may have something to do with Parish since an Ouroboros is an ancient mythical creature symbolizing rebirth, according to Design & Trend.
Represented by a dragon or serpent eating its own tail, the Ouroboros is commonly used interchangeably with a Phoenix.
"Teen Wolf" airs every Monday on MTV at 10 p.m. EST.
