Season 5 of "Teen Wolf" has just introduced its scariest and most dangerous villain yet, the Beast of Gévaudan, an ancient supernatural creature resurrected by the Dread Doctors. The Beast will be one of the show's most challenging villains and Scott and Stiles will need all the help they can get to defeat it.

According to showrunner Jeff Davis, uncovering the identity of The Beast will be the major mystery of the second half of the season. "It's formed by shadows. The chimera that's inside it is sort of surrounded by it. The person – we don't know whether it's a he or she yet – doesn't necessarily transform ... It's actually more just shadows and darkness take shape around that person," Davis revealed.

In the previously aired episode titled "Damnatio Memoriae," Scott and Stiles, who have finally reconciled, discovered that in order to defeat The Beast, they will have to reunite the True Alpha pack. With everything that has happened to the pack, will they be able to do so?

Malia is still currently preoccupied with defeating the Desert Wolf. Kira, meanwhile, was last seen in episode 8. Viewers were finally given a glimpse into where Kira has been. She and her mother Noriko have been in Mexico trying to control her Fox spirit. In the final moments of the episode, they are confronted by three Skinwalkers.

In next Tuesday's episode titled "Codominance," Kira will be the main focus of the episode. In her attempt to control her Fox spirit, she will come face-to-face with an Oni demon as part of the test. Part of her test will also deal with difficult aspects of her relationship with her mother.

Stakes remain high for Kira as she is told in the promo, "If we can't help you, you'll stay and become one of us... forever."

Thankfully, Scott and Stiles are on the way. The recently reconciled duo will be traveling to the desert to get Kira back. The road trip will also help reaffirm their previously fractured relationship.

Also, in next week's episode, Lydia is surprised to find Meredith in the Eichen House who will try to help her control her banshee abilities.
