"Flip or Flop's" hosts Tarek and Christina El Moussa may have filed for divorce, but there is definitely no bad blood between the two HGTV hosts. In fact, according to the latest reports, the two will continue to host their TV program together.

To the uninitiated, the El Moussas revealed in December that they were filing for divorce after they had an altercation almost a year ago. It was learned that the said incident even involved a gun, prompting the police to intervene and investigate the incident.

Some sources, though, claim that one of the alleged causes for the falling apart of their marriage was Tarek's verbal abuse to his wife. 

After numerous speculations on what may have possibly caused their divorce, the El Moussa couple finally set the record straight. In an exclusive statement released by the couple to People recently, the HGTV hosts say that their marriage is no different from others as they, too, experienced some challenges.

"We had an unfortunate misunderstanding about six months ago and the police were called to our house in an abundance of caution. There was no violence and no charges were filed," said the El Moussa couple in the statement.

However, despite filing for divorce, there is still a ray of hope for the "Flip of Flop" hosts as they also revealed earlier that they have sought counselling so that they can sort out their relationship. Although they are separated, the two said they will continue to assess if their marriage is worth keeping or letting go.

In fact, since the two announced their decision to file for divorce, the El Moussas made their first public appearance together just this week as the controversial couple spoke at the 2017 Investor Summit in Las Vegas.

Nonetheless, as the two also disclosed that they had already separated for months before announcing their divorce, and that each of them had dated different people since then, only time will tell if their marriage can have a second chance.

Will the El Moussa couple eventually reconcile and allow the past to bury its dead?

Fans can only hope so.
