Only two teams now remain and the Amalie Arena will be where Game 1 of the NHL Stanley Cup Finals will be played between the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Chicago Blackhawks.

The match will be on June 4, 2015 at 8:00 PM ET.

Tampa Bay have proved to be very worthy of representing the East, as they have shown their excellence on both ends of the floor on their way to the Stanley Cup.

They started their post-season run against the Detroit Red Wings and showed grit and determination after being tested by the veteran squad.

In the second round, Tampa Bay were sternly tested by the Montreal Canadiens.

Despite being seemingly outmatched on paper, the Lightning dominated the Canadiens for the most part of the series, jumping to a big 3-0 lead, before eventually eliminating their opponent in six games.

Finally, Lightning faced the defending Eastern Conference champions, the New York Rangers and their famed goalie Henrik Lundqvist.

In this series, Lightning were stretched to their limits and had to dig deep in order to overcome the Rangers in seven games.

During the playoffs, Steven Stamkos has been their best player, scoring goals when the team needed them the most and making big plays whenever his number was called.

On the other side, the Blackhawks overcame a lukewarm start to peak at exactly the right moment.

The Blackhawks began their run against the Nashville Predators and despite giving up the home advantage, they found a way to eliminate the Predators in six games.

Next up for them were the Minnesota Wild and they completely outclassed their rivals by sweeping the series in four games.

In their final series in the West, Chicago had the Anaheim Ducks waiting for them and the Blackhawks faced adversity and elimination multiple times before responding with a great comeback in Game 7. Their victory established the Blackhawks as the best in the West and the team will now take on the best that the East have to offer.

With a lot of stars in their line-up, captain Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane are probably the most dangerous men in the Chicago line-up and their success will help the Blackhawks win the Cup.
