'Tales of Berseria' news: New DLC costumes based on characters from other 'Tales' games
New DLC costumes have now been officially announced for "Tales of Berseria," and this time around, long-time fans of the RPG franchise will likely be familiar with these additional outfits.
Just like previous "Tales" games, the upcoming installment of the franchise will also feature some outfits inspired by other well-known characters who appeared earlier in the series.
The DLC costumes can currently be seen over on the game's official website and there are six of them in total.
The first costume is for "Berseria's" main protagonist Velvet, and she will have an outfit inspired by none other than "Tales of Destiny's" determined, sword-wielding heroine Rutee Katrea.
Next up, Eleanor will be sporting a new DLC costume fitting of any member of royalty, as she has been given the standard outfit that Natalia Luzu Kimlasca-Lanvaldear wore in "Tales of the Abyss."
The enigmatic Magilou's DLC costume is also quite apt for someone with her magical abilities, as she will be able to wear Arche Klein's witch-inspired outfit that was prominently featured in "Tales of Phantasia."
The men of "Tales of Berseria" will also have their own set of special DLC outfits.
Starting with Rokurou, this mighty swordsman can feature a more formal look too with a DLC costume that was first worn by Ludger Will Kresnik in "Tales of Xillia 2."
The other two men of "Berseria" – Laphicet and Eizen – have DLC costumes inspired by characters who appeared in "Tales of Graces." The young Laphicet will have a smaller version of Richard's regal outfit, while Eizen has been given Hubert's military-inspired garb.
Additional DLC costumes with other specific themes are also set to be made available inside the upcoming RPG.
"Tales of Berseria" is set to be released in Japan later this month, while fans in the West can expect the game to be made available to them early next year.
