'Supernatural' season 12 episode 8 spoilers: Lucifer sets his sights on the biggest 'fish'

(Facebook/Supernatural)Lucifer meets the U. S. president in the next episode of "Supernatural."

The Winchesters' search for Lucifer will bring them to the White House in the upcoming episode of "Supernatural."

In the episode titled "Lotus," the synopsis (as per TV Guide) reveals that the devil's new target is the United States president (to be played by David Chisum). Somehow, Lucifer will find a new meat suit influential enough to merit a trip to the White House.

In the last episode, he left Vince (Rick Springfield) dead as a doornail and escaped. Sam (Jared Padalecki), Dean (Jensen Ackles), Castiel (Misha Collins) and Crowley (Mark Sheppard) managed to stop him from killing so many people at a concert. When Lucifer realized he was losing, he hightailed it out of there and ended his days as a rock star.

Now that he has a bigger fish to play with, Lucifer will once again see how much he will irk his holy father by causing mayhem in the human world. The quartet will try to stop him, but it looks like they are going to be too late. The president has already made a deal with him and it will be up to Sam, Dean, Castiel and Crowley to do the cleaning up afterwards.

Lucifer is more dangerous now because he does not care anymore about the repercussion of his actions. He is still angry that God reunited with Amara (Emily Swallow) and left him alone.

Crowley's mother, Rowena (Ruth Connell), will also help them stop Lucifer and his evil plans. She previously managed to one-up the devil by destroying his meat suit and sending him to the bottom of the ocean. The devil proved to be too tough to defeat though. He found the Satan feather and healed himself. With a new vessel, Lucifer is ready with his next plan to get God's attention. Will the Winchesters and their friends succeed in taking him down for good?

"Supernatural" season 12 episode 8 will air on Thursday, Dec. 8 at 9 p.m. EST on The CW.
