'Supernatural' season 11 spoilers: A biblical battle ahead in episode 22

(Facebook / Supernatural)Sam and Dean Winchester have God on their side as they go against Amara.

After seasons of speculations, fans' faith in the theory of who God is has come to a conclusion. As many have guessed, Chuck is God and he is back to help the Winchester brothers, Sam and Dean, in their battle against Darkness. There are two more episodes before "Supernatural" season 11 comes to an end, and in episode 22 titled "We Happy Few," the epic battle begins.

Chuck, upon revealing himself, has explained the reason why he has allowed many of the apocalyptic events to happen. Just as he was almost about to give up on his beloved creations, he seemingly came to his senses and saved the Winchester brothers through divine intervention.

The dialogue is one of the best things about the episodes featuring Chuck's arrival. Just when viewers think God has truly reached a point of giving up on his creations, it was revealed that he was actually planning to give himself up again to save humanity.

The trailer for the next episode starts with Chuck appearing on top of a table and Sam asks, "What do you need to win?" God has agreed to intervene with the war against his sister Amara, but it looks like he will not handle things himself yet. The angels will figure in the fight once again and Crowley will work with them and he knows it is not going to be easy.

Just like the story of the first war in heaven, the angels would have to choose whose side they would be on: Light vs Darkness and God vs Amara. Rowena is set to go back and figure in the battle again. She had a hand in freeing the Darkness and she still carries with her the book that contains the spells.

Where does the fight lead the brothers? Will Dean be part of the sacrifices to be made in order to take The Darkness down? Will God, after all the Winchesters have been through and done, allow the bothers to go through more sadness?

Find out when "Supernatural" airs on Wednesdays, 9 p.m. on The CW Network.
