'Supernatural' Season 10 premiere date, spoilers: Jensen Ackles shares struggle to play 'Demon Dean'

The 'Supernatural' Season 10 premiere is airing in just a few weeks, and viewers are eager to find out how Dean will deal with his new demonic nature.
At the end of Supernatural's ninth season, viewers saw how Dean was resurrected into a demon, complete with glaring red eyes and a menacing look.
Jensen Ackles, the actor who portrays the older Winchester brother, revealed in an interview that it wasn't easy playing the demon version of his character.
"It was very difficult because it was Dean but it wasn't Dean, and it was a twisted version of Dean. So, yes, to navigate that and to keep those lines somewhat clear in my mind was difficult. It's not something I've had to do before. So I struggled with it a little bit," Ackles said during the 2014 Supernatural Vancouver Convention.
Ackles went on to describe that the relationship that Sam will have with Demon Dean will be "tough," since this new version of him does not want to be "found or fixed."
Ackles went on to describe Demon Dean as womanizing, overbearing, and the source of Crowley's many headaches this season.
Though it proved to be a challenge for Ackles to play this twisted side of Dean, fans will be pleased to find out that 'Supernatural' Season 10 promises to hold lots of excitement, challenges, and plot twists that will make the show even better.
The 'Supernatural' Season 10 premiere airs on The CW, October 7, at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT.
