'Super Smash Bros. 4' DLC news: Nintendo Direct reveals final DLC update; Corrin, Bayonetta to be final characters added to roster

During the Nintendo Direct presentation last Dec. 15, Nintendo revealed the final DLC update for its popular fighting game "Super Smash Bros. 4." The company introduced the final two characters joining the game's roster, as well as the costumes and stages to be included in the final wave of DLC content. The final characters are set to arrive by February 2016.
Corrin from the "Fire Emblem" video game series will be added to the roster. The character will be playable as male or female. Corrin will also have an attack that will allow the character to turn into a dragon.
Bayonetta, the protagonist from Platinum Games' "Bayonetta" video game, will be the last character added to the roster. According to results of the Fighter Ballot, Bayonetta placed first in Europe and was in the top five in the U.S.
Bayonetta will arrive with two costumes – the first in long-hair form based on "Bayonetta" and the second in short-hair form based on "Bayonetta 2." She will also receive a "Jeanne" color variation. Bayonetta will also arrive with the Umbra Clock Tower stage.
The final Nintendo Direct presentation also revealed new costumes – Geno, Chocobo Hat, Bionic Armor, Takamaru, Ashley, Gil and Tails and Knuckles. New amiibo figures like Ryu, Roy and Famicom were also introduced. The amiibo figures will be released on March 18, 2016. Corrin and Bayonetta will also receive their own amiibo figures but pricing and release date has not been announced.
Last month, Nintendo confirmed the addition of Cloud Strife from "Final Fantasy 7," along with a new Midgar stage. They can now be purchased separately for $5.99, or $6.99 for both. Cloud Strife comes with his standard uniform and another costume based on "Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children."
"Super Smash Bros. 4" has been one of Nintendo's best selling games. With the announcement of the last DLC update, fans of the game are now wondering if this will be the end of the game and whether Nintendo will be releasing a new installment in the near future.
"Super Smash Bros. 4" is available to purchase for the Nintendo 3DS and the Wii U console.
