With Mike (Patrick J. Adams) in jail for the next couple of years, Rachel's (Meghan Markle) parents will do everything they can to convince their daughter to leave him and start anew in "Suits" season 6.

Rachel and Mike almost got married during the finale of the last installment. Knowing that he will be away from her for quite a period of time, Mike wanted to assure Rachel that he loved her and wanted to be with her amidst all the difficulties. He changed his mind at the last minute though, as he realized he was being unfair to her and to her parents. For him, Rachel deserved a big wedding with all of her family present.

Mike also wanted to prove to her parents that he was not the guy they have always thought him to be. Their relationship has never been easy from the start. Now that he's been convicted for fraud, viewers can expect that Rachel's folks will want to separate them all the more, by force if necessary. According to Adams in his interview with Star Pulse, his character will have a tough time convincing the Zanes to give him another chance.

"I wouldn't want to be in Mike Ross' shoes, to that degree. I can't imagine what he would have to do, to be able to get them back on his side. I do know that if he was ever going to get them back on his side ... I think that his willingness to set her free, to do what she needs to do, is a display that he really does love and care about her a whole lot. I think his taking this deal and putting himself in prison is a statement of taking responsibility for what he's done," the actor shared.

Meanwhile, Rachel will do just fine waiting while Mike is in prison. Markle told Yahoo TV that she would "see her more in her other worlds" by going out and meeting new people. Rachel will also be busy with law school and catching up with old friends and family. There is also a hint that her ex-boyfriend Logan (Brendan Hines) may return to try and win her back.

"Suits" season 6 is expected to return in the second quarter of 2016 on USA Network.
