Pandora's tree has finally grown and she used it to leave "Sleepy Hollow" in episode six. However, it's doubtful that the devious lady is gone for good. Meanwhile, a new unbeatable enemy appears that has Ichabod, Abbie, Jenny and Joe scrambling.

Episode six of "Sleepy Hollow's" third season was not for the squeamish as the two Witnesses battled a demon that was made up of bugs. This mystical swarm intensified a person's concerns until it turns to paranoia and one is left crazy with fear. While Ichabod (Tom Mison) and Abbie (Nicole Beharie) was able to dispatch the Red Lady, they were too late to stop Pandora (Shannon Sossamon) from completing a potion that caused her tree to open and create a doorway. By the time the two reached the tree, it had closed and their nemesis was gone. Ichabod's observation that the tree could lead to the Underworld raises questions as to what Pandora would be doing there.

It seems that Abbie won't have much time to dwell on that as the synopsis for the upcoming episode, "The Art of War," reveals that she's left in charge when Reynolds (Lance Gross) goes to Washington DC to discuss the Nevins case. Meanwhile, Joe (Zach Appelman) and Jenny (Lyndie Greenwood) are about to face the consequences of stealing the shard of Anubis. Episode seven will also allegedly introduce a new evil that has arrived in town.

A trailer for "Sleepy Hollow's" latest episode starts innocently enough, with Crane in a battle with Abbie over chess. It soon devolves into scenes where Jenny warns them that they've got company in the form of an unbeatable enemy. Stills from the episode show several burly, flesh colored creatures attacking them. Abbie and Crane are seen shooting at them but it doesn't seem to have any effect. The teaser ends with Joe warning Ichabod that the creature is behind him and the time-displaced warrior tells his friends to run.

With Pandora seemingly out of the picture, the appearance of these creatures raises a lot of questions. Another question would want answered is how the shard of Anubis will affect Jenny after it had melted in her hand. Hopefully the new episode will give some much needed answers.

Episode seven of "Sleepy Hollow" season three will be aired on Fox on Nov. 12.
