The monsters that Pandora and the Hidden One have called to "Sleepy Hollow" appear to be coming in all directions. While the Jersey Devil had been successfully dealt with, a new creature is set to menace Abbie in episode 14.

Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) faced off against Benjamin Franklin's old nemesis, Japeth Leeds, in the previous episode. Leeds had transformed himself into the Jersey Devil through alchemy and was a willing servant of the Hidden One (Peter Mensah). The Witnesses were able to stop Leeds, but not before he was able to recreate the Golden Hourglass. More importantly, the case made Abbie (Nicole Beharie) realize that she was obsessed with the symbol from the catacombs and finally admitted the truth to Crane.

Abbie might be on the road to recovery after her admission, but that doesn't stop Crane from trying to learn more about the symbol. A synopsis for episode 14, "Into the Wild," teases that Crane will discover "that the symbol from the Catacombs may be more important than he realized." Abbie has problems of her own as she and Sophie (Jessica Camacho) had been paired together during the FBI's team-building day. As luck would have it, another one of the Hidden One's monsters have decided that that was a good day to attack the Witness, putting the two agents in danger of blowing their cover to Reynolds (Lance Gross). Meanwhile, Jenny (Lyndie Greenwood) and Joe (Zach Appelman) come into the possession of something infinitely precious and dangerous.

The trailer for the upcoming episode gives viewers an idea of the danger facing Jenny and Joe. The clip starts with Pandora (Shannyn Sossamon) stating that "creatures of the darkness will awaken," followed by a shot of a woman transforming into a creature with pointed teeth. Jenny and Joe are shown at an auction when they see that one of the pieces on sale is a part of Pandora's box. They somehow manage to get their hands on the box but are found out by Pandora. As Jenny begins to choke, Pandora tells them that "my power is my own." Joe tries to give her back the piece but is slowly transforming back into a wendigo. Pandora tells him that is his true form.

"Sleepy Hollow's" third season is admittedly working hard to get back to its season 1 ratings, but fans are still worried that it might not be enough to merit another season.

While the numbers might be worrying, Fox CEO Dana Walden had previously mentioned at the TCA press tour (via E! Online) that they're "really happy with Sleepy this season," and praised the show's creative aspect for being "in good shape."

Hopefully, that would mean the network is willing to keep the show around for much longer.

Episode 14 of "Sleepy Hollow" season 3 will be aired on March 11.
