The quaint and humble town of Sleepy Hollow is anything but sleepy as evil spirits, demons and the End of the World prophecy lurk beneath its charm. Episode 12 of season two of FOX's "Sleepy Hollow" ended with the betrayal of angel Orion, played by Max Brown, who could have stopped the ascent of a new Demon King in Sleepy Hollow.

Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) and Abigail Mills (Nichole Beharie) also have to work with Crane's wife who is also a witch as she strives to return Abraham or the Headless Horseman to his normal human self.

This week's soon-to-be-aired episode "Pittura Infamante" brings its fair share of plot twists, unexpected surprises and more gruesome demons and evil spirits. Christian Today highlights the official synopsis that entails the mysterious death of an art restorer at Sleepy Hollow's Historical Society Soiree. Ichabod and Katrina face a blast from their past, the role of which is enacted by guest star Michelle Trachtenberg.

Abbie has to face a surprising visit that is sure to knock the wind out of the dusky Lieutenant. Kpopstarz speculates that it might be the recently resurrected Captain Frank Irving (Orlando Jones), who fans may remember died. Crane will dismiss this sighting by Abbie as an effect of the dark arts.

Episode 14, titled "Kali Yuga" features a corpse-inhabiting spirit known as Vetala, from popular Hindu lore, making an appearance. Additionally, one witness is said to take the stage in this episode.

Reports also suggest that new characters will be coming up in the show, most likely the likeable Thomas Jefferson and a Navy SEAL-turned-photojournalist that captures the truth at any cost.

Fans want this season to pick up as it has been rather disappointing in comparison to the first one. Episode 13 of season two will air on FOX on January 19.
