'Sense8' season 2 air date, cast rumors: Bae Doona to leave series after season 2?

(Facebook/Sense8)The sensates will be back for more adventure on "Sense8" season 2, which is expected to air its first episode in December.

Production for "Sense8" season 2 has admittedly faced some setbacks in the early stages of filming. Rumors about problems continue to plaque the show and one rumor involves actress Bae Doona, who is reportedly to leave after the sophomore run.

In an article published by Soompi, it is reported that Doona could return to K-drama with a project tentatively titled "The Voice." SBD Entertainment, which serves as the actress' agency, released a statement that says, "She has received an offer for 'The Voice,' and she is currently examining the project. However, it has not yet been decided whether or not she will be appearing in the drama. She has received offers for lots of projects. She will most likely make a decision after reviewing the project as well as discussing it with the production team."

OCN Production, which is behind the said project, also sent a statement saying, "It's true that an offer went to Bae Doona. Right now we're coordinating the actors and their appearances." The statement further revealed that it has yet to schedule production, which could happen around the end of this year or early next year.

Although both parties are one in saying that nothing has been finalized yet, this has caused worry in some of the show's fans who are followers of Doona as well.

Some of the speculations surrounding "Sense8's" cancellation involve cost of production. If that were true, it will not be surprising if the Korean actress would choose to move out and move on to another project.

In related news, the premiere of "Sense8" season 2 has not been officially announced yet, but actress Jamie Clayton may have revealed that the first episode will be out in time for the holidays and the rest will come in early 2017 in a Twitter post.
