"Scream Queens" season 2 is currently on a short hiatus but, when it returns, fans can expect more deaths and probably a wedding.

Two episodes into the season and the Green Meanie has already killed at the C.U.R.E Institute, which doesn't bode well for the hospital and everyone connected to it.

Desperate times do call for desperate measures, which is probably why episode 3 will find Dean Munsch (Jamie Lee Curtis), Special Agent Hemphill (Niecy Nash), and the Chanels question Hester (Lea Michele) about the Green Meanie. They will also try to find answers from the sole survivor of the Halloween massacre that happened in the hospital. Chad (Glen Powell) accuses Dr. Holt (John Stamos) of being the killer and makes a shocking proposal to Chanel (Emma Roberts). Meanwhile, Dr. Cassidy's (Taylor Lautner) new patient leads to him and Chanel #3 (Billie Lourd) becoming closer.

The trailer for the upcoming episode, intriguingly titled "Handidates," teases that the brewing tension between Dr. Holt and Chad might come to a head. Fans will recall that Chanel's old boyfriend had been trying to win her back and inadvertently discovered the truth about Dr. Holt's naughty hand. The clip shows an excited Chanel screaming that she's getting married, much to Zayday's (Keke Palmer) surprise. But who is she marrying?

Her two beaus are seen facing off, with Chad telling the doctor that he always wins. Dr. Holt threatens him right back and is shown in one scene with his hands slowly closing in on the young man's neck.

The trailer also shows Dean Munsch, along with the Chanels, confronting Hester in her cell and telling her that "someone is targeting patients in the C.U.R.E. Institute." Last season's killer warns them that "the body count is about to come through the roof" and it would appear that her words have a ring of truth to it as a body falls from the ceiling.

Will the identity of the Green Meanie finally be revealed in episode 3? That's unlikely to happen anytime soon. What's certain is that another patient might meet his or her end at C.U.R.E. Will it be Cheri Oteri's character? The "SNL" alum is set to play Sheila Baumgartner, Dr. Cascade's new patient.

Episode 3 of "Scream Queens" season 2 will be aired on Fox on Oct. 11.
