Olivia Pope might have realized she's not cut out to be First Lady, but there's no denying she's the best at what she does. Now the crisis manager has to deal with keeping a Secret Service snafu quiet while confronting the President of his recent scandalous ways.

The past few episodes had Olivia (Kerry Washington) and ex-lover Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) leading separate lives. Now Olivia will be returning to the White House to do some major damage control.

A synopsis for episode 13 found on TV Guide teases that several Secret Service agents ask Olivia for help when they get into trouble. Meanwhile, some of Jake's (Scott Foley) secrets come out while Abby (Darby Stanchfield) scrambles to keep the president in line.

Jake and Olivia hooking up again was one of this season's big shockers and their relationship appears to be the focus of a trailer for the upcoming episode, titled "The Fish Rots from the Head," which begins with Olivia declaring that "he's up to something" as Jake is seen talking to a woman in a restaurant. Rowan Pope's daughter is also seen observing them inside a car while her associate realizes that she is spying on Jake. But the pair's physical relationship is clearly still on-going as the clip also shows the two getting intimate.

The crisis manager will be involved with the White House once more as she's shown arriving at a hotel room with the Secret Service and deciding to cover up their crime. There's also a shot of Fitz and Lilian (Annabeth Gish) in bed before it transitions to a scene of Olivia and Fitz confronting each other in the Oval Office. As glimpses of Fitz and Lilian getting dressed are shown, Olivia is heard scolding Fitz and asking if "reckless, negligent, selfish" is what he really wants to be. The clip ends with a shot of Fitz's angry face.

Abby is really coming into her own this season. She's probably the one who orchestrated the confrontation between Olivia and Fitz and the one who asked for help regarding the Secret Service agents. A sneak peek reveals just what kind of trouble the agents are in when Olivia arrives to assess the damage while Quinn (Katie Lowes) immediately pays off a cleaning lady. As a Secret Service agent tells them that things got out of hand, a woman comes out of room exclaiming she "can't believe Megan's dead." The clip ends with a focus on the dead woman on the floor.

Olivia's team covering up the death might be a sticky point this season. But what also makes things more interesting is her return to the White House. Will she be able to turn Fitz around? More importantly, will he even listen to her?

"Scandal" season 5 episode 13 will be aired on March 10.
