Samsung Galaxy S7 news: Smartphone with Exynos 8890 chip seen on Antutu

There have been multiple rumors about the Galaxy S7 and these have indicated that Samsung plans to use two chipsets on the lineup. One of these particular chipsets is the Exynos 8890, which is Samsung's homegrown option and it was recently spotted on a benchmark site.
Reporting on the passage of the Galaxy S7 running on the Exynos 8890 chipset through the AnTuTu benchmark site, SamMobile states that the device had a SM-G930F model number. Particularly, this model number ends with "F," which indicates that the device is an international version of a smartphone and since the Galaxy S7 is going to be the first to get the Exynos 8890 chipset, all indicators point towards it.
Even as the device was spotted on the AnTuTu benchmark site, its score was not revealed, but industry pundits believe that this, too, will surface soon. Once the AnTuTu benchmark score leaks, people will be able to check how the Exynos 8890 chipset fares against the Snapdragon 820. Importantly, many believe that Samsung will release the Galaxy S7 with the Snapdragon 820 chipset in several international markets, most notably in the United States. That particular device, which was also spotted on the AnTuTu benchmark site this month, has a model number of SM-G935A.
The listing for the Galaxy S7 running on the Exynos 8890 chipset revealed that in terms of hardware, the device will have 4 GB RAM. As for its display it will have the standards bezels and it will be 5.1 inches in size. Coming to the camera, the listing revealed that it will actually have a 12 megapixel version on board, which indicates that larger pixels will be used as the camera is downgraded from the current 16 megapixel version on the Galaxy S6.
In terms of the launch of the Galaxy S7, all indicators point towards it arriving a few days before MWC kicks off in Barcelona in February, but Samsung has not scheduled an Unpacked event until now.
