As the hit series "Rizzoli & Isles" ushers in its seventh and last season, fans want to know if the main protagonists Jane (Angie Harmon) and Maura (Sasha Alexander) will find new men to love.

As the top detective of the Boston PD, Jane almost has no time to date. Her last serious relationship was with hot Army guy Casey Jones (Chris Vance), whom she dated in high school. They were supposed to have a baby, but Jane miscarried. After that, Jane has had several flings but they did not last. She is married to her work and prefers to spend time with her best friend Maura and her mother Angela (Lorraine Bracco) in her off days.

Maura, on the other hand, revels in relationships but she never seems to find the right man for her. Her frequent break-ups stupefy Jane. Although the doctor is nothing less than the best medical examiner in the whole Massachusetts area, outside her lab, she is an innocent little girl. Jane always finds herself protecting her, as Maura does not seem to know how.

There are only 13 episodes for season 7 and they are all expected to be action-packed. The dynamic duo's mettle will once again be tested in solving new crimes and apprehending criminals. Will they have time for love? Seeing both Jane and Maura happily in love will be the ultimate happy ending for fans. Design & Trend believes there will be, as well as a possible promotion for the girls.

TNT recently announced (via Facebook) that the series would return with season 7 on June 6. The premiere episode is expected to tackle the cliffhanger in the finale of the last installment, when an unknown hitman shot someone during Korsak's (Bruce McGill) wedding. Fans are putting their bets on Jane's college nemesis as the culprit. As to who has been shot, they will have to tune in to the upcoming episode to find out.

"Rizzoli & Isles" season 7 will premiere on Monday, June 6, at 9 p.m. EDT on TNT.
