Reality dancing superstar Maddie Ziegler is the newest judge on "So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation." She will make her debut on the show's June 20 episode.

Fans of Ziegler were saddened by her exit on the reality show "Dance Moms," the show where her celebrity status began. They will not miss her that much though because aside from "So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation," she is also set to make her film debut in the movie "The Book of Henry," which is scheduled for a release on Sept. 16.

On her Instagram account posted two days ago, Zeigler shared the trailer for her first appearance. She joins judges Nigel Barker, Paula Abdul, and Jason Derulo on the show. She joined the show during auditions in New York, held earlier this year. An interview with the show's host, Cat Deeley, reveals she has been watching the show since she was five years old and never thought she would one day be a judge. Being a veteran in dancing contests since she was young, she has imagined herself auditioning for the show.

She was named one of the "30 Most Influential Teens of 2015" by Time Magazine and has a massive fan base. The trailer shows her interacting backstage with the auditionees who were delighted at seeing her. She was seen dancing and playing with the contestants of the show.

Aside from her first episode on "So You Think You Can Dance: The New Generation," Ziegler will also join singer Sia on her "Seriesfest.com" show on June 22. Ziegler has appeared in the singer's music videos for the singles "Chandelier," "Elastic Heart," "Big Girls Cry," and "Cheap Thrills."

Viewers have certainly not seen the near end of Ziegler. A door may have closed, but more windows are expected to open for the young celebrity.
