Viewers finally saw Alex break down following the events of the recently aired "Clear" that saw former classmate and FBI agent Natalie die at the hands of the mysterious terrorists. In the upcoming episode "Answer," Alex is on the run once again and turns to Simon for help.

In the promo for the upcoming episode titled "Answer," Alex heads up to the snowy mountains in search for Simon.

"Everyone I care about is in danger... including you. You're the only one I can trust," she tells him while in tears.

According to executive producer Josh Safran, the upcoming episode will be incredibly tense and dark. As Alex and Simon meet up, they will spend most of the episode talking about what has happened to their lives and how they have been affected by the actions of the terrorists.

"It's like two people really getting down to the bottom of everything that has happened between them. It's a really special episode. It's unusual for us," Safran told Entertainment Weekly.

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like Alex will get much needed help from her former classmate. Simon doesn't seem to be doing well and is as troubled as Alex is. He has had a difficult time coping with what has happened, specifically with having been used by terrorists. Alex tries to help him but her efforts doesn't seem to have an effect on Simon.

"I'm not innocent, Alex. I never was," Simon says and then proceeds to point a gun at Alex. The promo also shows Simon setting fire to his mountain cabin.

Meanwhile, in the flashback storyline, the NATs will be learning more about defensive driving. Moreover, tensions between several characters continue to rise. Drew and Ryan seem to have been involved in a specific event in Chicago that led to the death of Drew's girlfriend. Nimah also finally confronts twin sister Raina about her suspicious actions and secrets. Finally, there also seems to be a fight brewing between Miranda and Liam.

To see how these events unfold, be sure to catch "Answer" airing on March 20.

"Quantico" airs every Sunday at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
