'Pretty Little Liars' season 7B spoilers: What secret is Aria hiding from the girls?

(Facebook/prettylittleliars)Aria could be a suspect in the next half of "Pretty Little Liars" season 7.

Aria (Lucy Hale) is turning out to be a suspicious character in the final season of "Pretty Little Liars." Could she really be working for the killer A.D.?

As per University Herald, there are growing speculations that Aria may be hiding a deep secret from the girls. At this point in time, the mystery of A.D.'s true identity still remains unsolved. No one is above suspicion, even the Liars. They may have grown up together, but they cannot claim they have complete trust in each other.

Aria is no exception. When Charlotte (Vanessa Ray) was found dead at the bell tower, the girls thought for a period of time that Aria did it. This time around, rumors claim she and fiancé Ezra (Ian Harding) are actually A.D.'s minions.

There is a chance though that Aria is regretting her actions. In the promo for the upcoming episodes, she is telling someone via a phone call that she wants out and she does not want to lose.

Meanwhile, the other girls are freaking out over the antagonist's claim that the end is near. In the teaser, they will receive a black box with the note "It's playtime" inside. Aria, Hanna (Ashley Benson), Emily (Shay Mitchell) and Alison (Sasha Pieterse) are all together. Spencer (Troian Bellisario) is presumably still in the hospital after Jenna (Tammin Sursok) shot her in the last finale.

The promo shows Spencer lying on a gurney and being wheeled to an ambulance. The fans are crossing their fingers about her recovery. After all, much still remains to be done to end the Liars' fight against A.D. Spencer also has to look for answers to the questions about her true identity. Last time, Mary Drake (Andrea Parker) claimed that she was Spencer's mother. Then, there is Alison's predicament. She is currently pregnant with Archer's (Huw Collins) baby.

"Pretty Little Liars" season 7B returns April 18, 2017 on Freeform.
