'Pretty Little Liars' season 6 episode 7 spoilers: Mr. DiLaurentis helps Alison get away from Charles on his birthday

"Pretty Little Liars" is gradually but surely inching towards unmasking A and getting the liars closer to revealing the truth. Tuesday's eerie episode finally saw the liars abandoning Lesli Stone as the A suspect while Mr. DiLaurentis received a peculiar message from what he believed was his dead son. The DiLaurentis patriarch dug out Charles' grave and it looks like he did not find the body of his dead son.
The hooded tormentor had sent his father a birthday card that read, "Dear Daddy, Coming home for my birthday. You should plan a party to die for. Just you. Love, Charles." In the upcoming episode seven aptly titled "O Brother, Where Art Thou," the liars and the DiLaurentis household will gear up for Charles' birthday.
According to Alloy Entertainment, Charles' declaration of coming home for his birthday will encounter mixed reactions from everyone. Mr. DiLaurentis, who is clearly not in favor of meeting his son, will want to take Ali and Jason out of town in a bid to hide them from their brother.
However, Jason sees this as an opportunity to validate all his early childhood memories of Charlie, whom he once believed to be his imaginary childhood friend until recently. It does not seem like a smart move on Jason's part.
The liars, on the other hand, will be split up at Charles' coming home birthday party. Spencer and Hanna will see this as a chance to finally capture the ace tormentor while Emily and Aria wish to stay miles away from the mysterious torturer. It seems that this could go either way—Charles could be setting up traps or he could really be reunited with his brother.
But judging by the episode's preview clip, which can be seen below, this seems to be one of A's devious traps and schemes to torment the liars.
"Pretty Little Liars" airs on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EST on ABC Family.
