Season 6 of the hit series "Pretty Little Liars" is coming to a close, but the girls are no closer to identifying who has been sending them threatening texts about Charlotte's (Vanessa Ray) murder. Before the show goes on a hiatus, the finale is promising viewers a huge turn around over the Liars' messy love lives. Will there be unexpected reunions of ex-lovers?

In "Hush Hush, Sweet Liars," CarterMatt reports that although the world around Spencer (Troian Bellisario), Aria (Aria Montgomery), Hanna (Ashley Benson) and Emily (Shay Mitchell) is slowly crumbing, there will still be some silver linings that will come their way. It appears that three of them will get a second chance to win back the men they once loved.

According to the synopsis, Spencer will continue working alongside Toby (Keegan Allen) to track down Sara (Dre Davis). Although Spencer looks very much in love with new boyfriend Caleb (Tyler Blackburn), viewers can see that her connection with Toby is still there. The police officer is also in a relationship with Yvonne (Kara Royster), but that does not stop him from gazing at Spencer with longing eyes.

In fact, even Yvonne cannot help but question Toby's affections for her as he is obviously still hung up on his ex-girlfriend. What about Caleb, who has been spending a lot of time with Hanna, to protect her from the stalker who sends threatening messages to the girls? After deciding to send the text stating she killed Charlotte, Hanna is awaiting for the axe to fall.

Caleb, of course, will do his best to keep her safe. He will become the blonde's shadow for the next days. Inevitably, there will be many moments when they talk about what went wrong with their relationship. With Hanna engaged to be married, it appears that the race has been run. However, the series has proven that it only takes a little incident to change the pacing of the game.

Elsewhere, Ezra (Ian Harding) finally finishes his book's last chapter. In the process, he also says goodbye to Nicole (Rebecca Breeds). Aria, who has been with him every step of the way, will continue to be a great comfort in his grief. Before they know it, old feelings will find their way to the surface. Is it time for Aria to break up with Liam (Roberto Aguire) and go back to Ezra?

Meanwhile, the promo for the upcoming episode shows Alison (Sasha Pieterse) close to an emotional breakdown. Her strange visions make her question her own sanity. In the clip, she is telling the girls that someone held her hand while she was sleeping in her bed. She also gets weird phone calls.
