'Pretty Little Liars' season 5 episode 24 spoilers: verdict for Ali, but witness turns jury against her

Suspense-driven, mind-boggling "Pretty Little Liars" is heating up as Ali's trial takes place and Hanna's future hangs in the balance. In episode 23, viewers saw Ali's trial and the liars desperately seeking any shred of evidence that can save their friends. Towards the end they did find something, but can Mona's clue really help Ali and Hanna's case?
The official synopsis revealed by WetPaint of episode 24 "I'm A Good Girl, I Am", states that Alison's trial comes to a close and the outcome becomes even bleaker when the prosecution calls in a surprise witness. This witness heavily skews the trial against Ali and not only paints her and the liars in bad light, but also Aria's younger brother, Mike. The liars get even more desperate to prove their friend's innocence. Spencer, Aria and Emily race against time to find any evidence or witness. Meanwhile, Mike becomes a target for A when it looks like he'll be called to testify. Ezra and Caleb have differing opinions on what he should do.
The promotional video for the episode makes it seem like Hanna and Alison aren't getting out of jail anytime soon. The prison mates are seen in the laundry room but Alison hurts Hanna. Is it intentional or does Ali have a bigger plan? Hanna also seems unsure of her future. The video also shows Caleb and Ezra on a mission but someone, likely A, botches their covert mission by firing arrows. Toby is also seen in the video and Aria freaks out when something comes out of a box.
Meanwhile, Movie News Guide spilled spoilers for the finale that suggest Mona is alive and trapped in a life-sized dollhouse where her actions are monitored by A. The liars will also be locked up in the house and A is someone named Charles. The website also unveiled that A's identity will still be unknown after watching the final episode.
Episode 24 airs on March 17 and the finale airs on March 24 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC Family.
