'Power' season 3 spoilers: Who's side is Tommy on in episode 2?

(Starz)Tommy and James have been best friends for a long time before their fallout. In episode 2 of "Power" season 3, their loyalties will be tested.

James St. Patrick (Omari Hardwick) is determined to turn over a new leaf. However, he is discovering how shifting could be a lot easier said than done. At the end of the first episode, he turns to his old friend Tommy Egan (Joseph Sikora) and they agree to meet. After his discovery, however, is Tommy still an ally or a foe? Viewers will find out in "Power" season 3 episode 2.

The secret about Lobos' (Enrique Ricardo Murciano) survival is out and Tommy is now working with him. He tells Tommy the importance of killing Ghost and what the consequences would be if he does not do so.

The teaser for the next episode shows Tommy saying, "Ghost got in touch with me. He wants to meet up tonight and when he shows, I'm gonna put a bullet in his head." The next scene shows Ghost waiting for his friend, while Tommy seems to be sneaking from behind and aiming a gun.

The two former bestfriends had a major fallout by the end of second season, and with many characters looking to exact their revenge on Ghost, Tommy would be one of the best people to form an alliance with. However, James and Tommy have become a family and breaking the bond and loyalty may not be that easy.

Season 3 of "Power" aired with a powerful viewership result. The premiere has pulled in 2.26 million live viewers, which makes it the most watched episode of Starz. This record was previously held by "Outlander" season 2 premiere.

Cast member and executive producer 50 Cent shared the news on his Instagram account with a caption, "3.4 million people watched the first episode. Now you know people are having POWER party's imagine how many people are really watching."

"Power" airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on STARZ.
