'Pokemon GO' release date: A rundown of the newly released game's features

(Pokemon)The newly released "Pokemon GO" uses real-life locations. The game is available for download on iPhone and Android phone devices.

"Pokemon GO" continues to create a buzz with its initial release on July 6. Those who have downloaded the game gush about it on different social media accounts and those from countries waiting for its release are more anxious than ever.

True to its description, "Pokemon GO" enables real world and virtual actions among the Pokemons. Available for iPhone and Android devices, Niantics has used real places as the setting of the game. Hokkaido and Kanto, Japan, New York, and Paris are among the places featured.

"Pokemon GO" continues to engage its users as they go about their daily routine. Anywhere one goes, the device vibrates when another Pokemon is near. The player can then choose to engage.

Furthermore, the Trainers in "Pokemon GO" may be customized with a wide selection of clothes and accessories to choose from. The same Trainer's image seen on the player's screen will be the same image that other players will see his Trainer in on their own screens.
PokeStops are also all over where Trainers get to find and collect Pokemon Eggs. Hatching of the eggs will require Trainers to walk a certain distance with incubators also provided to speed up the process. New Pokemons have been installed for players to discover.

Training Gyms are waiting to be discovered where players may also claim ownership to the place. An empty Gym may be automatically claimed by the Trainer, while Gyms with existing owners may be acquired by engaging in a battle.

"Pokemon GO" also allows team battles; in fact, some stages will require players to pick one from three teams. Joining a team allows the Trainer to choose to assign his Pokemons to any Gym location or to Gyms where a team member has assigned a Pokemon.

A "Pokemon GO Plus" device may be purchased so players do not have to take out their phones everytime. "Pokemon GO Plus" is a device that connects to phones via Bluetooth and actions may be controlled from there. This accessory will be available at the end of the month.
