'Pokemon GO' Gen 1 to Gen 2 evolution chart: Special items requirements for proper evolution
While the Gen 2 update for "Pokemon GO" has been around since February, most trainers still need help in the evolution of their Pokemons from Gen 1 to Gen 2 using the new Special Items.
Earlier reports about the Gen 2 update revealed that almost 80 Pokemon that come from the Johto region were introduced in the February update. The list of possible evolutions have been compiled by publications, including the name of the items that are needed to be able to come up with the complete evolution.
For example, the Zubat and the Golbat will need 50 Candy and 100 Candy to evolve into a Crobat for the Gen 2 update. On the other hand, the evolution to Gen 2 Raichu would need 25 Candy for Pichu and 50 Candy for Pikachu to evolve.
The list also mentions that Oddish can evolve into Gen 2 Bellossom with 25 Candy, while Gloom would need 100 Candy to turn into a Vileplume before it can ultimately evolve into the Bellossom. Same is true for the Poliwag, which also needs 25 Candy to turn into a Politoed, while Poliwhirl would require 100 Candy to turn into a Poliwrath before turning into a Politoed.
Meanwhile, trainers can simply rename their Pokemon for evolution. For example, Vaporeon can be renamed into Rainer, Jolteon could be renamed as Sparky, Flareon will be renamed as Pyro, Espeon can be renamed into Sakura, while Umbreon could be renamed as Tamao in order to evolve.
On the other hand, a new minor update has been released for "Pokemon GO" players on Tuesday, March 21.
The "Pokemon GO" version 0.59.1 for Android and version 1.29.1 for iOS allow players to get a reward for every random evolution stone that players managed to gather after the end of the 7-day mark of the "First Pokestop of the Day" streak. It also comes with minor text fixes for the game.
The rest of the content update can be found in the patch note.
