Starz's historical-fiction drama "Outlander" is not slated to arrive until next year, but various rumors and speculations have already surfaced online as to how its story may pan out. The latest speculation is that the series may feature Jamie (Sam Heughan) having a love child with another woman named Geneva.

As the series is based on Diana Gabaldon's series of novels, with the upcoming third season to tackle the events the third book in the series, "Voyager," it is now speculated that Jamie will sire a child with Geneva, his employer's 17-year-old daughter, in "Outlander" season 3 as that's how things go in the print version of the story.

According to reports, Jamie goes into hiding in a small cave after his and his troop's loss at the Battle of Culloden. However, he eventually turns himself in after finding out that his sister, her family, and their tenants are starving, hoping that the ransom money he'll get would be able to feed them.

As he is in prison, Jamie meets Lord John Grey (David Berry), and they become friends. Other reports claim that Lord John Grey is a closeted gay who would fall in love with Jamie, but his romantic feelings for him will be unrequited. Nonetheless, with the help of Lord John Grey, Jamie gets paroled and continues his sentence as one of the servants of Lord William Dunsany.

While serving the Dunsany estate, Jamie meets the daughter of Lord William, Geneva, who eventually becomes infatuated with him and forces him to go to bed with her. As Jamie gives in, Geneva eventually becomes pregnant and gives birth to a baby boy to be named William Ransom.

With "Outlander" being faithful to its book origin for the past two seasons already, it is expected that its upcoming season will also feature the characters of Lord William Dunsany and Geneva. However, at this point in time, there is still no news as to who will breathe life to the said characters who are deemed to play important roles in Jamie's life.

"Outlander" season 3 is expected to premiere in early 2017.
