'Orphan Black' season 3 spoilers: Self-aware male clones of Project Castor a threat to the sisterhood

(BBC America/official Facebook page)Airs on April 18 on BBC America and across AMC Networks.

"Orphan Black" is a highly acclaimed TV show starring SAG nominee Tatiana Maslany and delves deep into the world of clones and touches a myriad of aspects of cloning. After a shocking season two, fans should prepare themselves for an even suspenseful season three.

The new trailer reinforces the threat that Project Castor poses to Project Leda. The team of militarized and self-aware male clones pose a grave threat to the sisterhood. Add to that, the sisterhood will strive to cure Cosima and deal with Alison's husband, Donnie. Looks like there is a lot for the sisterhood to handle this season. Sarah leans on her same-faces now more than ever. Mrs. S attempts to come in between the sisterhood, as seen in the trailer, but gets a reply, "That's not your bloody decision!" from Sarah. The sisterhood may not have been completely united before, but they are now.

Actor Ari Millen, who plays multiple roles of male clones in the upcoming season, shared some spoilers and teasers to TVGuide. He said, "Mark very much wants a simple life", referring to Mark, one of the clones of Project Castor, "He wants out of Castor, he just wants a family, everything he doesn't have. Moving forward we're going to see that the things he wants aren't going to come easily." Mark may cause trouble for the brotherhood.

At the Television Critics Association, a clip was shown that depicted Sarah interviewing a tied up and battered Rudy about his clone brother Mark. Seems like season three is definitely worth a watch.

Moreover, in an attempt to garner a higher number of viewers, BBC America will permit AMC Networks to simultaneously air season three. "Orphan Black" will air on AMC, SundanceTV, IFC and We TV, apart from BBC America.

Get ready for some clone-centric action as season three airs on April 18 at 10 p.m. ET.
