The finale of "Orange Is The New Black" season 3 had left viewers with more questions than answers. Given all the uncertainty, especially about the fate of the show's main characters, fans of the series had been hoping to see another season. Fortunately, "Orange Is The New Black" season 4 has been confirmed to be a go.

"Orange Is The New Black", which first premiered on Netflix last July 2013, is an American comedy-drama series based on the memoir of Piper Kerman titled "Orange Is The New Black: My Year In A Women's Prison". It follow the life of Piper Chapman as she serves time for a drug smuggling sentence that she was charged with 10 years ago.

All the three seasons of the show was received positively by both critics and fans. The show even garnered several award nominations, ultimately winning the Primetime Emmy award for Outstanding Casting for a Comedy.

Season 3 saw a lot of surprising twists that left viewers of the show on the edge of their seats. Among the most controversial twist was Daya and Bennett's seemingly perfect relationship falling apart. While Bennett initially proposed to Daya after knocking her up, his character suddenly fell off the face of the earth, leaving his inmate girlfriend alone to decide on whether or not to keep the baby. Daya finally kept the baby under the care of her mother's boyfriend, but ultimately got arrested, which meant child services for Bennett's child.

Since Matt McGorry, the actor who plays John Bennett, was absent for most of the third season, there were doubts about whether he would resurface in the fourth season. In an interview with Yahoo news, McGorry remained vague, but did address the viewers' doubts:

"The thing that I can say about Season 4 is that it's the writers' decision about whether or not Bennett is back... I have my fingers crossed that he comes through and is the man that we all hoped he was. But I wouldn't be surprised to find out that wasn't the case. Like me, I guess you'll just have to wait and see."

No date has been set for "Orange Is The New Black" season 4, though the show is speculated to premiere by 2016.
