'One Punch Man' season 2 spoilers: Romance to distract, cause Saitama's defeat

Even before "One Punch Man" season 2 was confirmed, there were already various rumors and speculations as to how its story may go. Now that the anime's season 2 is confirmed, more and more plot theories on "One Punch Man" season 2 surface online, and one of which is that Saitama/One Punch Man will be defeated because of the distraction caused by his love life.
It was only at the latter part of August when it was finally confirmed that fans can really expect "One Punch Man" season 2. However, even before the anime's newest season was announced, there were already rumors claiming that the upcoming season of the anime series would feature Saitama getting entangled in a love triangle.
The latest in the rumor mill, though, is that Saitama will not only have a complicated love life, which is suspected to involve Tatsumaki or Fubuki, but will also be defeated in one of his battles because of the distraction caused by his romance department. It is unclear, though, as to who among his opponents will cause his defeat.
Apart from the rumors claiming that "One Punch Man" season 2 will feature Saitama having a love life, it is also said that he'll be facing Lord Boros anew. To recall, Saitama already defeated the villain in the season 1 finale episode of the anime series. However, rumors claiming that a stronger Lord Boros will return to avenge his defeat in "One Punch Man" season 2 are growing louder and louder as well.
In addition to Lord Boros, it is also suspected that Saitama will battle Genos, his self-proclaimed cyborg student, as the latter turns against him. As to what will cause the souring of the relationship between the two that will lead them to becoming enemies, it is not really clear at this point in time.
Meanwhile, the chances for "One Punch Man" season 2 to arrive within the remaining months of 2016 are getting bleak. However, fans may not wait that long as, reportedly, the anime will return for its next season within the first quarter of 2017.
