Following the success of "One Punch Man" season one, it's impossible to say that there will no longer be another installment to follow, especially now that the English-dubbed version of the hit manga and anime series is about to wrap up its first season in Toonami.

Recent reports suggest that the second season may start airing sometime this month. According to the speculations "One Punch Man" season two may arrive shortly since Toonami will soon finish airing all the English-dubbed episodes of the first season and the original Japanese version may only be waiting for the network to complete its first season run before new episodes are rolled out.

However, there is no confirmation just yet from Madhouse or Yusuke Murata regarding the hot rumors. Though it is believed that season two is already in development and may arrive soon, fans should take speculations with a grain of salt until there is official word from the author and network.

Meanwhile, there are numerous theories about the plot of the new and upcoming installment. Some fans believe that Saitama will once again have to face a stronger and better Genos, while others speculate that he will get the attention of Amai Mask on a negative note.

Amai Mask is a more reasonable opponent for Saitama for "One Punch Man" season two, especially considering that the plain and dull hero will need someone very challenging so he could re-establish his reasons and goals as a hero.

Wikia describes Amai Mask as a very prominent character in the manga due to his extreme good looks and musical and acting skills. He is currently the highest A-Class hero in his pool and though he is strong enough to be in the S-Class ranks, he opts to stay where he is at the moment so weaker heroes don't get a chance to move up.

In the comics, Amai Mask wiped out an entire breed of aliens who tried to invade his land. He is also known for his quick fighting maneuvers and brute strength that could take down any opponent. Amai Mask's qualities could be the reason why many fans expect him to be the next big villain in Saitama's life.
