There is no denying that "One Punch Man" season 2 is one of the highly anticipated anime shows ever. Proof to this are the various rumors and speculations as to how the series will pan out when it returns. While many of the plot theories are being looked forward to by the fans, the latest in the rumor mill, without question, does not fall in the good graces of its viewers: Saitama/One Punch Man will be a villain.

According to the latest in the rumor mill, Saitama will be fed up with the group of heroes that he will not desire to be part of their team. This, allegedly, will lead Saitama to the other side of the fence.

It is also said that the upcoming season of the anime series will usher in a new superhero who is a force to reckon with: King. It is alleged that King is so powerful that even the monsters will not dare to pick a fight with him. However, Saitama will soon discover something about King's real identity, but will keep mum about it. Will Saitama's decision to keep quiet on what he discovered about King the reason why he'll be considered a villain? No one outside "One Punch Man" season 2 knows for now.

Apart from becoming a villain because of his disaccord with other superheroes, there are also rumors saying that what will cause Saitama's transition into being a villain is because of a heartbreak. Reportedly, the bald superhero will find himself in the midst of a love triangle involving sisters Tatsumaki and Fubuki, which will cause his heartbreak eventually. 

However, some reports claim that Saitama's heartbreak will not cause him to be a villain but will distract him, and this, allegedly, will cause his defeat in one of his battles, at least.

Meanwhile, apart from the rumors claiming that Saitama will be a villain in "One Punch Man" season 2, talks about Lord Boros fighting Saitama anew have also persisted. Reportedly, the monstrous villain will regenerate after Saitama defeated him in the season 1 finale of the series and will return stronger than before in his second bout with One Punch Man.

"One Punch Man" season 2 is expected to arrive early next year.
