Following the spectacular events that wrapped up season 1 of "One Punch Man," fans around the globe are already requesting for the immediate release of season 2, and recent rumors suggest that the second installment will see a powerful villain coming face to face with Saitama.

In the previous season, Saitama defeated Lord Boros, and with the end of the first round of battles, there are several rumors about season 2's plot. Some suggest that the next season will follow the events in the manga, while some believe things will be a whole lot different in the anime version.

According to MNR Daily, Amai Mask is rumored to be the new villain who will challenge Saitama's boring but ultimately powerful attack. Amai Mask is a Class A Rank 1 hero and he is described by Wikia as the highest-ranked A-Class name in the Hero Association.

Aside from his ranks in the hero world, Amai Mask is also well known around the world for his modeling, acting, and singing skills. He also has immense speed abilities that make him unstoppable among S-Class heroes. He has had his fair share of battles won just like Saitama so fans can expect that Saitama will finally face his biggest foe in the season.

Other reports suggest that instead of Amai Mask, Garou will be the biggest foe that Saitama will face in the upcoming season. Also known as the "Human Monster," Garou sports long and spiky white hair, unlike Amai Mask, who has soft and calm features.

As for the upcoming installment's premiere, there are varying reports. Some outlets reported earlier this year that it would take about two years to complete all the needed drawings and documents for an entire season. However, some suggest that it wouldn't take as long as two years since creator Murata Yusuke said he will work hard with the team to deliver another installment to all the fans who made the series a massive success.
