The Vinsmokes have long been in search for Sanji. The last chapters have dealt with the family's background and, in "One Piece" chapter 831, Sanji has to choose between his biological family and the Straw Hat Pirates crew who has become his family.

The previous episode has shown that Big Mom allows her crew members to leave but losing them as part of her crew also means they have to lose something. She takes out a lim roulette and immediately viewers are concerned with the fate of Jinbei, Sanji, and Luffy.

Sanji's engagement to one of Big Mom's daughters was a political move as the Vinsmokes are considered powerful allies. Despite not ruling any kingdom, the Vinsmokes are fierce warriors who also boast of technological advancements.

Charlotte Purin, her daughter, has instantly taken a liking to Sanji and as a hopeless romantic she was happy to be arranged to marry Sanji. However, Sanji has to leave his crew, the Straw Hats, once they are married and he refuses to do so.

Charlotte has proven that she has a good heart through and through as she understands and has in fact helped the Straw Hats to save Sanji. However, Big Mom's armies are plenty and Luffy, Sanji, and the rest of the Straw Hats are in big trouble.

A battle is said to ensue in the next chapter. Followers of the series will finally get to know the importance of the poneglyphs that Pedro has been tasked to retrieve. Charlotte will catch Pedro in the act but will let him go, but Big Momma will still catch him and will keep him hostage.

The Vinsmokes will arrive in the middle of the war and Big Momma will leave them to decide the fate of Sanji and the rest of the Straw Hats. Will Sanji be able to join his crew again? Or will he make a sacrifice to save his friends?
