Actor Giles Matthey will join the cast of "Once Upon a Time" in the upcoming season 6 as Morpheus. Characters Aladdin, Jasmine, Sinbad, and Scheherazade as also expected to be featured.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the Greek mythology god of dreams character will be quick witted and good at reading people as he is at hiding his own agenda. For those wondering what story arc he will be entering in, Belle (Emilie de Ravin) has been put under a sleeping curse and Morpheus will act as her bridge to the waking world, especially to love interest Rumple (Robert Carlyle).

Meanwhile, TVLine speculates that season 6 will also feature Disney characters Aladdin, Jasmine, along with Sinbad and Scheherazade. "Once Upon a Time" season 5 finale saw Mr. Hyde (Sam Witwer) bring in characters from "Land of Untold Stories" to Storybrooke.

Casting call for a 30 something Middle Eastern/Arabic or Northern African male was made by the network ABC soon after. The role of Sinbad is further described to be a "roguishly charming and quick-witted hero who knows the power of kindness but as of late has lost faith in his ability to lead his people."

A casting call for Scheherazade has also been made and a regal Middle Eastern/Arabic beauty has been sought. The character is further described as a beauty "who never backs down from a good fight and can go toe to toe with even the toughest adversaries."

Aside from the new characters and the love story of Belle and Rumple, viewers are also excited to see Regina and the Evil Queen in separate bodies. Actress Lana Parrilla, who plays both characters, said, "I feel like Regina is in a hopeless place right now, and we're going to see how she deals with those emotions."

"Once Upon a Time" season 6 will premiere on Sept. 25, 8 p.m., on ABC.
