As the premiere episode of the second half of "Once Upon A Time" season 5 draws closer, the hype for the American fantasy-drama series seems to get even bigger.

Before the drama returns to the TV screens, it was confirmed that a new captain will soon tread the storyline of the show.

According to ET Online, actor Costas Mandylor has been officially added to the cast as Captain Silver. The show has yet to reveal more details about his character, but there are speculations suggesting that this new captain has something to do with Killian Jones or Captain Hook.

The report further suggests that Captain Silver might be the same Captain Long John Silver in the 1883 novel "Treasure Island."

When "Once Upon A Time" returns, viewers can expect their favorite characters in a trip to the Underworld.

Premiering with the episode "Souls of the Departed," Emma, Regina, Gold, Snow, Charming, Robin, and Henry will be seen in the Underworld as they rescue Captain Hook. Although they came in such a strong group, the search is not going to be easy. Apparently, the souls that lurk in the Underworld have unresolved grudges which could greatly affect their mission.

In the recently released photos of scenes from the second half of season 5, it can be seen that Regina will be able to face her mother—or her mother's ghost—Cora. By the looks of the photo, it seems like it turned out well. Unfortunately, Gold's reunion with his father Peter Pan does not look very promising.

"Once Upon A Time" season 5B will premiere on Sunday, March 6, on ABC.

In another related news, actress Ginnifer Goodwin, who plays Snow White in the series, recently revealed that she and husband Josh Dallas are expecting another baby boy, E! News reports. She confirmed the news during the premiere night of the Disney animated film "Zootopia" yesterday.
