NVIDIA's GTX 10 lineup continues to grow and the latest addition, known as the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060, could be the graphics card that many gamers have been waiting for.

As plenty of people already know, NVIDIA's GTX 10 lineup already includes both the GTX 1070 and the GTX 1080.

Both the GTX 1070 and the GTX 1080 are on the pricier side however, so they may not have been practical purchases for gamers operating on a budget.

Compared to the prices of the GTX 1070 and the GTX 1080, which are priced at $449 and $699 respectively, the GTX 1060 can seem like a significantly more reasonable purchase.

NVIDIA has already announced that the prices of the newly unveiled graphics card will start at $249, positioning it as the more economical option included in the GTX 10 lineup.

According to WCCF Tech, there may also be a 3 GB variant of the GTX 1060 that is eventually released and that may end up being even more appealing to budget-conscious gamers as it is expected to be made available for a lower price.

A Founder's Edition of the recently unveiled graphics card is also slated to be made available soon, and that variant will come with a $299 price tag, according to NVIDIA.

Similar to the other graphics card in the GTX 10 lineup, the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 is expected to provide capable support for VR gaming.

NVIDIA has also touted the new graphics card's ability to remain cool even while being used for heavy duty applications.

Gamers will have to wait just a bit longer before they can get their hands on the new graphics card however.

The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 will officially be made available starting July 19, and gamers may want to secure their unit right away since the other graphics cards in the GTX 10 lineup have proven to be quite the popular purchases when they are first released.
