NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 news: Release date for two variants confirmed

After much anticipation and speculations, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 GPU will be available in the market on Oct. 25.
The said GPU will come in two choices: the GeForce GTX 1050 and GeForce GTX 1050 Ti. The variants will be sold for $109 and $139, respectively. The difference between the two variants is based heavily on the memory capacity and programming.
The GeForce 1050 Ti variant has a 4 GB DDR5 memory, which is twice as much as that of GeForce 1050. The higher-priced model also has 768 CUDA cores, while the lower-priced model only has 640. Both models are Pascal-based and considered the cheapest ones using the architectural technology.
The GeForce GTX 1050 was created by NVIDIA for greater gaming experience. It is said to deliver significantly better speed and power efficiency than the previous cards. This means players will get to experience faster movement in the game, while energy or power consumption is lessened.
NVIDIA is known to deliver products as promised, and the near release of the GeForce GTX 1050 and GeForce GTX 1050 Ti has prompted some of its competitors to lower the prices of the existing GPUs.
PC World notes that Radeon has already lowered the prices of its RX 460 and RX 470 at about $10. The publication notes that although it is early to tell whether or not the upcoming NVIDIA GPUs could surpass the performance of the previously anticipated AMD cards, some comparisons have already been made prior to the release of NVIDIA cards.
Video gaming continues to grow in popularity all over the world. From simple animations, games have now become more realistic graphically. The more explicit the details become, the better gaming processor units are needed to deliver their full potential. Virtual reality (VR) is fast rising as the new mode in gaming, and it remains to be seen if NVIDIA or other companies are able to keep up with the technology.
