The unconfirmed Nintendo NX continues to be a subject of various rumors. Recently, there were rumors about the device's hardware specs found at NeoGAF.

According to forum member 10K, a source shared that NX will have a Polaris-like GPU, which will make the Nintendo console superior to PlayStation 4 and will have double the power of PS4's GPU.

While this should be something interesting for those who are waiting for the NX, Emily Rogers, a Nintendo Insider, has come out to debunk these claims.

Since Rogers does not own an account at NeoGAF, forum member Penguin shared the information on her behalf. Rogers insisted that sources from Nintendo said that the hardware rumors started by 10K is all made up, adding that the GPU specs and power level are wrong bits of information.

Rogers didn't specify anything but only mentioned that NX specs are generally "good," but most of the details from 10K are incorrect.

"I was told that NX has good specs, but the info in this thread on the GPU and power level is just not correct. Sorry to burst everyone's hype," Rogers relayed.

Meanwhile, "The Legend of Zelda" has been rumored to be a launch title for Nintendo NX for months. Rogers herself confirmed this saying that the game is indeed coming to NX and Wii U.

In her reports, Rogers, citing multiple sources, mentioned that Link is playable and the character can either be male or female. She also added that there was voice acting for most of the characters in the game, but none was done for Link.

Rogers had her share of inaccurate information, so it's always good to take her reports with a pinch of salt. Nintendo NX is a hot topic in the gaming community and rumors are expected to spread like wildfire until Nintendo makes the official announcement.
