Nintendo made it official in April of this year that it was going to be releasing the NX console next year in March. Since then, the company has remained largely silent about the console and its features, but rumors and news about it have continued to emerge and these have pointed toward games that could be arriving on it.

One of the recent rumors pertaining to the Nintendo NX console arrived along with a trailer for the game "Rise: Race the Future." Once the trailer made an appearance, it was picked up by websites who stated that the game will also be offered on the upcoming Nintendo NX console. However, the websites also said that the game "Rise: Race the Future" is due to release sometime in Winter 2016 which could mean that it will arrive before the year is over. If the game does arrive sometime before the holidays start, it is likely that it will beat the Nintendo NX to the market.

However, given that the Nintendo NX has been mentioned in the trailer, it is likely that the game is being developed for the upcoming console. Earlier, there were rumors that Nintendo was keeping the details about this upcoming console secret, and as a result of this, very few games would be developed for it. With the trailer of "Rise: Race the Future," it appears that more games are being developed for the Nintendo NX and gamers can take consolation from the news. Other analysts have meanwhile pointed out that only a place holder was placed for the Nintendo NX in the trailer and ultimately, when the console releases, it will arrive with another name and icon.

The most recent console from Nintendo is the Wii U and it has not performed as well as the company expected. However, Nintendo has stated that the upcoming NX is not going to be a follow-up of the Wii U, and instead, it will be based on a new concept and is therefore expected to do very well in terms of sales.
