Jess (Zooey Deschanel) and Schmidt (Max Greenfield) hit the gym in the upcoming episode 6, titled "Ready," of the sixth season of the American comedy series "New Girl."

Jess tells the gang that after some time of reflection and being single, she is ready to enter the dating game again. After her brave announcement, Schmidt convinces her to give her workout partner, Robby (Nelson Franklin), a fighting chance. In order to make things work, Schmidt goes to the gym with Jess.

Meanwhile, Cece (Hannah Simone) decides to employ another bartender, who happens to be a hunk. Nick (Jake Johnson), on the other hand, is having a hard time making sense with the male beauty. Winston (Lamorne Morris) has discovered a newfound confidence and it is surprisingly making him irresistible. Also, "All My Children" alum Trent Garrett guest stars as Donovan.

In other news, there are rumors circulating that Megan Fox will no longer appear in "New Girl" season 6. According to reports, the actress may cancel her gig on the show because she wants to extend her maternity leave after giving birth to her third child. Fox plays Reagan, the temporary roommate of the gang when Jess was away who ended up as Nick's new girlfriend. These rumors, however, should be taken with a grain of salt.

The rumors are most likely untrue, however, since Fox herself confirmed of her return last April to EOnline during the CinemaCon. Apart from the "Transformers" actress, other actors who were announced to guest star include Damon Wayans Jr., Meghan Rath, Nasim Pedrad, and Peter Gallagher.

Meanwhile, the previous episode of "New Girl" season 6, titled "Jaipur Aviv," saw Schmidt and Cece asking for the gang's help in remodeling their fixer-upper. Jess, on the other hand, opened up on the possibility of Reagan moving into the loft.

The all-new episode of "New Girl" season 6 airs on Nov. 15 at 8:30 p.m. on Fox.
