'New Girl' season 6 spoilers: Jess impersonates Donald Trump in episode 2

(Facebook/NewGirlonFOX)"New Girl" season 6 airs every Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. on FOX.

The upcoming episode of "New Girl" season 6 will tackle the Presidential election as Jess (Zooey Deschanel) and Cece (Hannah Simone) attempt to recruit as many voters as they can.

The synopsis for the second episode of the sixth season, titled "Hubbedy Bubby," features Jess and Cece making a bet with Schmidt (Max Greenfield) about getting voters for the election. Winston (Lamorne Morris), on the other hand, will help Nick (Jake Johnson) learn the ropes of phone sex as he struggles with a long distance relationship.

A promo trailer has also been released for the new episode. It teases Jess and Cece going door to door to convince people to vote in the upcoming Presidential election. "Who's ready to party?" Cece asks, as a group of sorority girls cheer. But when Cece and Jess ask them if they have any intention of voting, they get the door shut in their faces. The 20-second clip also sees Jess dressing up and impersonating Donald Trump.

In other news, TVLine has reported that David Hornsby, who is known for his work on FXX's "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," is set to appear in this season of "New Girl" in a guest starring capacity. Hornsby will portray the head of the parent council at the school where Jess works. In the same episode, Nick will also get a brilliant idea on what to give Schmidt and Cece as a wedding present. The episode will air sometime in November.

Funnily enough, Hornsby also happens to be Deschanel's brother-in-law, as he is married to her sister, Emily, who is best known for her role as Dr. Temperance Brennan in "Bones."

Meanwhile, here is a brief recap of the premiere episode, titled "House Hunt."

Schdmit and Cece found a quaint house that needed some repairs, which is better than having to use the bar as collateral, in order to afford their expensive dream home. Meanwhile, Winston and Aly (Nasim Pedrad) dealt with their long distance relationship. Jess, on the other hand, tried to tell Nick about her feelings for him, but decided to back out of the decision in the end.

"New Girl" season 6 episode 2 airs on Sept. 27, Tuesday, at 8:30/7:30c on FOX.
