'NCIS' season 13 episode 10 spoilers: Bishop goes home for Thanksgiving while team looks for a bone marrow donor; 'Bionic Woman' Lindsay Wagner guest stars
"NCIS" episodes that reveal more of an agent's personal life is always great to watch and it was Bishop's turn to shine last episode, even though her story ended on a bad note. Episode 10 will continue to focus on the ex-NSA agent's personal troubles but it will also show a different side to Gibbs.
In the previous episode, Bishop (Emily Wickersham) suspected her husband Jake (Jamie Bamber) of having an affair but dismissed it when she saw that he was having dinner with someone from Internal Affairs. She, instead, thought that he was being investigated and worried over how she can help him. As it turned out, Jake was indeed having an affair and admitted it during the course of the episode.
Episode 10 of "NCIS" season 13 will show the aftermath of Jake's infidelity as Bishop decides to head home for the Thanksgiving holiday. The trailer for the episode, titled "Blood Brothers," starts with a shot of a Thanksgiving table setting and a turkey being stitched, either by Duckie (David McCallum) or Palmer (Brian Dietzen). Bishop arrives home and surprisingly, Gibbs (Mark Harmon) appears to have gone with her as she warns him that he's in Oklahoma.
Gibbs is seen chopping wood and also smashes a phone that could be Bishop's. The agent is also shown getting angry during dinner and tells her mother (Lindsay Wagner) that it's "my life and my marriage, so back off."
The next scene shows the two of them on the porch, with Gibbs telling Bishop that she's done enough running while she expresses her surprise that the NCIS leader is giving her advice about sharing her feelings. The clip ends with Gibbs mentioning Rule 28 — if you need help, ask.
While Bishop is dealing with a pretty big setback in her marriage, there are still cases to resolve back at the NCIS headquarters. According to the synopsis posted on Carter Matt, the Secretary of the Navy asks the team for help in finding a bone marrow donor for a sailor battling leukemia after his two siblings, who were Marines, were both killed in the line of duty.
Episode 10 of "NCIS" season 13 will be aired on Nov. 24 on CBS.
