As the finale for "NCIS" season 13 approaches, more and more fans are starting to speculate on how everyone's favorite agent will be leaving the team and how the season would end. But before they say goodbye to Anthony DiNozzo, viewers will first get the chance to welcome a very special guest, First Lady Michelle Obama.

There were rumors earlier that Mrs. Obama would be appearing in one episode this season. Now, CBS has confirmed that the First Lady of the United States would indeed appear as herself in episode 22, titled "Homefront."

The episode will apparently revolve around a home invasion that was thwarted by a 14-year-old whose mom, Anne Marshall (Reiko Aylesworth), will be invited to the White House by the First Lady. Marshall, a Marine wife, will be joining Gibbs (Mark Harmon) at a roundtable discussion about Joining Forces. They will be joined by other real-life military spouses.

Joining Forces is an initiative that was launched in 2011 by First Lady Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden. It encourages and calls on Americans to support active military service members, veterans, and their families through wellness and education programs, as well as employment opportunities.

While this isn't the first time that the First Lady appeared on a TV show, it is the first time that an episode was shot in the White House. "NCIS" showrunner Gary Glasberg told USA Today that the original plan was to shoot on the show's California set. But due to some scheduling changes, the First Lady invited them to film at the White House. Now the show has the distinction of being the first TV drama to be filmed inside the iconic presidential residence.

"It was a dream come true for all of us," Glasberg said of the experience. "We feel honored and privileged."

Despite the excitement that the show will be graced by such an important personage, a lot of fans won't be distracted from the fact that there are only three episodes left before they say goodbye to season 13 and to very Special Agent Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly).

Fans are wondering whether Tony's old love, Ziva David (Cote de Pablo), will be making an appearance. Glasberg admitted to E! Online that Tony's relationship with the former Mossad officer factored in his decision to leave the team. However, it would seem that Ziva won't be appearing in DiNozzo's final episode.

Ziva might be a no-show, but fans can expect to see Robert Wagner return as Tony DiNozzo Sr., along with some special guests. Loyal fans should also expect to see poignant, heartbreaking moments as DiNozzo makes his final bow.

Episode 22 of "NCIS" season 13 is set to be aired on May 3, at 8 p.m., on CBS.
