"NCIS" season 13 will be graced with the presence of Emmy-winning actress, Lindsay Wagner, as she guest stars as Bishop's mother in the show's Thanksgiving episode. Meanwhile, the team tries to solve a case involving a petty officer whose death bears a serial killer's signature.

"NCIS" season 13 will be revealing more of Special Agent Ellie Bishop's (Emily Wickersham) past and personal life. It has been teased that while the secretive ex-NSA continues to soar in her job, she will be having marital and personal problems this season.

According to TV Line, viewers will be introduced to the 66-year-old Wagner in the show's Thanksgiving episode, which will be aired on Nov. 24.

Wagner's guest turn in the popular police procedural show is something that the "NCIS" crew is excited about. Showrunner Gary Glasberg revealed to TV Line that he has been a huge fan of the actress since "The Paper Chase,"while the other line producers have worked with "The Bionic Woman" star in "The Rockford Files."

While the Thanksgiving episode is reportedly heart wrenching, episode six will be giving fans the chills. A synopsis in Carter Matt stated that in the episode, titled "Viral," the "NCIS" team must determine whether a petty officer's murder is the work of a known serial killer or a copycat.

The episode will also see the return of Delilah (Margo Harshman). McGee (Sean Murray) and his girlfriend will have to make some important decisions and learn how to compromise before they take the next step in their relationship and move in together.

Rocky Carroll is also be back in the director's chair in "Viral." The actor, who plays "NCIS" Director Leon Vance, had directed an episode last season, episode 13.

Fans will undoubtedly look forward to seeing Wagner in the series. The show is known for casting other notable actors to portray the characters' parents. Robert Wagner has a recurring role playing Anthony DiNozzo Senior and the late Ralph Waite portrayed Gibb's father, Jackson, so Wagner is in very good company.

"NCIS" season 13 episode 6 is set to be aired on Oct. 27.
