Sam's son and his schoolmates are held hostage by an extremist group in the upcoming finale episode, titled "Talion," of the seventh season of the action and police procedural drama "NCIS: LA."

Senior NCIS agent of Los Angeles, Sam Hanna, gets distress code from his son Aiden who is at school at the time. Sam learns that his son's school has been taken over by an extremist group. Sam, Callen, Kensi, and Deeks all rush to San Francisco to rescue and protect Aiden, as well as free the hostages in the school.

Speaking of the finale, fans of the show are wondering if Kensi and Deeks will finally tie the knot. The engagement talks have already started when Deeks opened about it on the March 19 episode. Deeks and Kensi also tackled the subject on having children.

According to earlier reports, the pair's wedding proposal will be happening in season 7; however, executive producer Scott Gemmill confirmed on TV Guide that the wedding bells will be ringing next season.

"We will not see, I don't think, a proper proposal until next season, because we have an idea for how to do that that I want to play out," Gemmill said. "I already know how we're going to do it. It's just, the fans have waited long enough that we want it to be worth the wait."

As for having children, Gemmill added that they will return to the discussion once they are officially engaged. It is possibly going to be a hard conversation since none of them wants to quit their jobs.

The couple will also take into account that their jobs often bring them to life-and-death situations. He added, "Is that proper parenting, or is that negligence in some way?"

"NCIS: LA" season 7 finale will air on Monday, May 2, at 10 p.m. on CBS.
