'NBA 2K17' MyPark news: Events to feature new parks and contests

(Facebook/NBA 2K)Secret parks in NBA 2K17 can be accessed through MyPark modes.

2K Games made sure "NBA 2K17" will be one for the ages, and now, the MyPark mode boasts an event-centered feature that according to some reports will have secret parks.

A few days ago, online producer Shane Coffin shared on Facebook the new way the MyPark mode works on "NBA 2K17."

Coffin stated that there are going to be a number of events this 2016 for the purpose of "ensuring that the park is always fresh and always changing."

These events are the Mountain Dew 3x Tournament, Rival Day, Ante-Up, House Rules, and Double Rep Weekends.

In Coffin's description of each event, it seems Rival Day, Ante-Up and House Rules will present games with new venues.

It was written that Rival Day will have a "new and distinctive venue," while a "separate venue" can be seen with Ante-Up and House Rules.

Because of this, the idea of having secret parks was born, and these new surroundings could be something fans are wanting when they play the MyPark mode of the game.

In a report by The Bitbag, a video was shared and it discussed how these secret venues can be accessed.

Most likely, if gamers desire for their players to see action in a different court, they must explore these events since each brings a feature or contest that comes along with a new venue.

In the video it was opined that constant changes to courts might happen and this is a strong possibility. It was also suggested that random parks may be shown and it could be an old one from the past versions of "NBA 2K" or a new one.

Along with the parks, Coffin also shared upgrades when it comes to customization in MyPlayer, plus the return of Park Cards, and having Park Badges in this mode of the game.
