'Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 Road to Boruto' DLC update, news: Gameplay trailer features Naruto's Seventh Hokage version
The Seventh Hokage version of main protagonist Naruto in "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 Road to Boruto"' was featured in the gameplay trailer issued by publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment. The game's new downloadable content (DLC) expansion landed on Feb. 3.
Based on the trailer, the Seventh Hokage Naruto's transformation from his normal self into his upgraded form has been amazingly quick and his capability to launch powerful attacks in rapid succession has been improved. The Seventh Hokage Naruto was also seen performing new and different moves.
In the trailer, new characters like Sarada, Mitsuki, Boruto, and Mecha Naruto were also introduced. The trailer also showed the improved power and capabilities of Naruto's best friend and rival, Sasuke, which befit his moniker, The Wandering Shinobi.
The story arc of the expansion is based on the "Boruto: Naruto the Movie." In the game, players will play the character of Naruto's son Boruto while they battle against the raging Momoshiki and his loyal servant Kinshiki.
In the expansion, the developer also included a Boruto adventure mode, in which players can explore the setting of the story, the Hidden Leaf Village. There are also 10 side missions like Boruto's 10 tasks. The story mode, meanwhile, features some enjoyable missions like taking the Chunin Exam, which includes a written test, and the flag-collecting missions around the village.
In related news, video game studio CyberConnect2 has introduced a new patch for "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" PC version. The patch allows the game to be played at 60 feet per second (fps) from its original speed of 30 fps, and also includes a Spectator Mode and an eight-player endless mode. The patch can be auto-downloaded from Steam.
"Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 Road to Boruto" DLC pack is already available for the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms.
