After making himself the human shield to protect his friend Kakashi in the previous episode of "Naruto Shippuden," it is now speculated that Obito will finally die in the upcoming episode 472 of the anime series.

It can be recalled that in "Naruto Shippuden" episode 471, Naruto and Sasuke were left immobile after Kaguya amplified the gravity. With this, Kaguya and Obito entered the scene, thinking that even if they were no match to Kaguya, at least, they could use themselves to shield Naruto and Sasuke from the rods Kaguya was shooting. However, Obito did an even greater heroic act when he channeled the rod that was about to hit Kakashi into his direction with the use of his Kamui, which, indeed, saved Kakashi but led to him being injured.

With Obito injured, spoiler reports now claim that the wounds he sustained are actually fatal, and he will die in "Naruto Shippuden" episode 472. However, despite his imminent death, it is alleged that Obito will actually be happy as he and Rin can finally be together once more in the afterlife.

Apart from the alleged death of Obito, it has also been learned that "Naruto Shippuden" episode 472 will also feature Kaguya's power becoming nearly depleted. Reportedly, this was already hinted in the previous episode when Black Zetsu told her that they must return to another dimension as it will help Kaguya regain her chakra faster after using it in amplifying the gravity.

Fans wonder if Naruto and Sasuke can finally defeat Kaguya in the next episode of the anime now that Kaguya's chakra is almost depleted. According to other sources, Naruto and Sasuke will grab the opportunity to finally finish Kaguya.
